Hikago (Ko Yong-ha/Hon Su-yon)

Title: Rushes In 5/5
Series: Hikaru no Go
Disclaimer: Characters are the creation of Hotta and Obata
Pairing: Ko Yong-ha/Hon Su-yon
Challenge: #5--Commitment
Notes/warning: Sex

"You’re too young for me to do this, you know." The weight on him eased, as though Yong-ha was sitting up.

"I’m sixteen, so shut up," Su-yon ordered, opening his eyes. "And this isn’t the time to stop, you jerk."

"You... you are sure?"

The sight of an uncertain Yong-ha would have been entertaining at any other time. Time to change tactics. "Maybe you’ve forgotten how it goes," he smirked openly. "Shall I teach you instead?"

Yong-ha glared, his uncertainty forgotten. "No need." He lunged forward, seized Su-yon’s hips with an infinitely gentle grip and thrust all the way in.

Also, I wanted to add my thanks and appreciation to missing_inc for her efforts in administering this challenge. It was enjoyable.

oh, man. ^_^ that is so funny and so them. stopping then to think, hey, wait, this isn't right. and then having it sort of slip into the mode of competition.

wonderful. ^_^ thanks!!!

I know! Taunts and competition just fit right into their relationship. As friends, they're certainly friendly and mostly cooperative, but when they're a pair!... ^^

Glad you liked this.

*makes inaudible squeaking noises* I love how Su-Yon knows exactly which buttons to press! Gah, you are aware that you're killing me slowly because all of these are short, tantalizing drabbles which leaves me wanting more at the end of each, right?

Always knew Su-yon was smart!
Yeah... I wish I could write a long fic--well, longer fic about them. But I'm still exploring this pairing, and plain out wondering what else to say about them! I mean, I've got them into bed, so my work is done? ^^

Glad you've been enjoying them. Yong-ha is so sexy, and with grown-up Su-yon... brain goes 'guh'.

There are so many similarities between Su-yon and Shindou. (Also besides the fact that they both have... hmmm... unprofessional interest in the best player of their respective countries.)

This was a very nice ending for the series. ^_^ I like the way you made Ko-Yonha hesitate. It was good to see a humanly feature in him again. I also consider jealously one of those. However, this hesitation was much softer. Also, it was very nice to see a reference in age difference/maturity difference. That's something one rarely sees anywhere, and somehow it always bugs me.

Wonderful job ♥

Thanks! It wouldn't be nearly half as interesting if the age difference/maturity difference wasn't explored, at least a little. I think it adds spice. ^^

Hee, I though I'd write all my comments in one post, so as not to flood your email with inane squealing. I hope you don't mind that I'm late to the party.

Drabble 1
He could not answer 'Shindou Hikaru' so he snapped, "What is it to you?"

^^ I'm really tickled how everyone in Hikago is obssesed with someone else. Su-yon's obsession is so cute, and I love how you introduced Yong-ha. Very mysterious, but wouldn't Su-yon already know who Yong-ha was since Yong-ha is one of the best, young Korean go players?

Drabble 2
Before he could answer, Yong-ha’s voice was in his ear, low and fierce. "I’ll defeat him for you. Then you’ll chase me."

Luce, that was steaming. Seriously. This interpretation of Su-yon and Yong-ha's relationship gives a whole new spin on the whole rivalry thing going on between Yong-ha and Shindou. Now I'm imagining Yong-ha and Shindou as little chibis and Yong-ha pulling Shindou's bangs for encroaching on his boytoy. Plus that whole scene of Su-yon explaining that he's clearing up the misinterpretation so he can clear Yong-ha's name pops up into mind. Ahhh, the unintentional shounen-ai!!!!!

Drabble 3

I am a bad, bad person. Really Luce, I shouldn't be engaging my imagination while reading your fics, because now I have bad, bad images of Yong-ha trying to take advantage of Su-yon. And I don't even like Yong-ha. Dude...

otherwise you totally got me at the end with the handicap games. ^^ And Su-yon is such a cutie.

Drabble 4
Su-yon is still the cutest thing ever. I really like how you're showing how the pairing is developing as sort of a meeting of two deranged minds. Yong-ha tickles me with his oversized ego and inability to let someone overtake him. Su-yon is such a cute oddball too, getting blushy over Yong-ha declaring that he's going to practically stalk him.

Drabble 5
Yay! I love how Su-yon took the lead in the middle, spurring Yong-ha to get over his hang ups. And I'm infinitely grateful for the aging of the two. If they were 14/16 (?) like at the end of of Hikago, I think I would have had to shoot myself. *shakes off feelings of chan! TezuRyo*

What a cute series. Thank you so much for posting Luce! I think you actually made me hate Yong-ha a little, teeny, tiny bit less. ^^

Wow, thank you so much for your lovely feedback!

I think you actually made me hate Yong-ha a little, teeny, tiny bit less.

Just doing my part for the community, ma'am! ^__^ Yong-ha is a really fascinating character. When he was first introduced, he was this super-genius in Korea, and I was prepared to hate him, but the later chapters showed that he was, well, human, and someone who thinks about Go deeply. He's still arrogant, but a bearable human being.

Drabble I: I did mention that Su-yon knew of Yong-ha, by the way. But yeah, it was fun to work in the general obsession everyone has with Hikaru. Add a little of Yong-ha's 'hostility' towards Japanese, and watch sparks fly.

Yup, I wanted to overturn the dynamic a little. Just because Yong-ha's better at Go and older doesn't mean he gets to take the lead. Su-yon is pretty determined, too. ^^

Last drabble: Yeah, I do veer away from chan, because I look around at the 12 to 14-year-olds boys I know, and my mind boggles. (Even if it actually happens.) Not into TezuRyo because of that, at least not while they are in junior high. Plus (back to Hikago), it probably took a couple of years for Su-yon to snare Yong-ha. ^^
