Challenge!

This was a format I played around with, with little success, at another comm I run. I love the idea of it and after brainstorming on it for so long and refusing to let a good idea die, I've decided to serve it up here in the hopes of getting a few of you to bite. *G*

So, if you're up for a challenge, step right up. This is going to be a pretty casual thing. Hardly any rules, compared to our usual lot.

Basically, we have seven categories:  painfic (angst, h/c, non-con..), smut (R or NC-17), romance or fluff , AU, comedy, kink or cliche and finally, writer's choice. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write or illustrate in those seven categories by using prompts that will be provided to you at the beginning of each week. You may interpret them as you wish. Write 50, 100 or 10,000 words, use one pairing all the way through or mix it up with several from different fandoms. Whatever you'd like as long as you use one of the prompts provided.  Just play around and have fun.

Category:  Painfic
Themes:

1 - All lies and jest, still, a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.
2 - Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
3 - Then one day you find, ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
4 - Love when you can, cry when you have to, be who you must, that's a part of the plan.
5 - Some people never come clean, I think you know what I mean. You're walking a wire between pain and desire, and looking for love in-between.
6 - The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath.
7 - The path that I have chosen now has led me to a wall, and with each passing day I feel a little more like something dear was lost.

Your regularly scheduled program will be returning soon!

p.s.- shanaqui, the answer to your question is yes. *head desk*
